Rev. Lynette Fontenot - CWC Coordinator
Rev. Lynette serves as the Coordinator for Christian Women Connection (CWC) at Faith Chapel Church of God. In her leadership role, she is dedicated to facilitating the various ministries within CWC, offering support, direction, and assistance to ensure their success and growth.
In addition to her responsibilities with CWC, Rev. Lynette serves as an Associate Minister at Faith Chapel. She is passionate about encouraging the Body of Christ to know and genuinely value Holy Spirit, embrace fellowship with Him, and courageously seek to utilize His gifts to bring salvation and healing to those who are lost and hurting.
Prior to her recent retirement, Rev. Lynette served as a Congressional Affairs Specialist for a federal agency. When her retirement was announced, the senior senator of her state surprised both her and the agency for which she worked, by going to the floor of the U. S. Senate to offer prepared remarks - words of commendation - for her service.
Rev. Lynette is an author and has served the church in various capacities on the local, state and national levels. When she is not engaged in ministry or service, she enjoys traveling with her husband, spending quality time with family, seeking out new adventures, and writing.

Meritha Toston - Spiritual Life Coordinator
Meritha Toston serves as the Spiritual Life Coordinator for Christian Women Connection (CWC) at Faith Chapel Church of God. In this role, she leads the EncouragerHer ministry, providing spiritual guidance and fostering growth among the women of the church. Meritha also acts as CWC’s liaison to the Gardere Initiative, helping to strengthen connections with this diverse and vibrant community of caring, hardworking families who often face marginalization and limited resources.
Beyond her responsibilities within CWC, Meritha is a dedicated teacher in Faith Chapel’s Children’s Church Ministry, where she continues to support the spiritual development of the church’s youngest members. Having retired from Albemarle Corporation as a data analyst, Meritha remains actively involved in caregiving for her family, and she is affectionately known as "Mimi" by her four lively grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and spending time in nature.

Pamela Woods - Outreach Coordinator
Pamela Woods serves as the Outreach Coordinator for Faith Chapel’s Christian Women Connection (CWC). With a genuine compassion for people and a strong desire to help others realize the hope and transformative power that comes from understanding the love of Jesus Christ, Pam leads CWC’s community outreach initiatives. Her responsibilities include organizing prayer walks at schools, hosting community prayer walks, coordinating nursing home visits, and overseeing other
ministry outreach activities.
Outside of her work with CWC, Pam has built a long-standing career with Kindercare, an organization devoted to fostering children’s learning and development in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. She leverages her expertise as an early childhood educator to support Faith Chapel’s Children’s Church Ministry, enriching the lives of young members of the congregation. Additionally, Pam has contributed her talents to the church choir and praise team, further demonstrating her commitment to service within the Faith Chapel community.

Rica Kwentua - Leader, Married Women's Chat (MWC)
Rev. Rica Harris Kwentua serves as the leader of the CWC’s Married Women’s Chat, a ministry dedicated to promoting Godly and healthy relationships within families. Through her leadership, she encourages women to build strong, faith-based marriages and nurturing home environments.
In addition to her ministry work, Rica is an accomplished attorney, balancing her professional obligations with her family responsibilities. She is grateful for the blessings she experienced in her own fruitful marriage, which inspire her service to others.
Rica currently serves as an Associate Minister at Faith Chapel, demonstrating her ongoing commitment to the spiritual and organizational leadership of the church. As a member of the Board of Elders, Rica plays an integral role in guiding the direction of Faith Chapel and ensuring the wellbeing of its community. Her dedication is evident through her meaningful contributions, which continually benefit the Faith Chapel congregation.
Rica’s influence is not limited to her local church. She has actively served the broader church on national levels, using her gifts and passion to strengthen and support the wider faith community. Additionally, she has made a positive impact on the City of Baton Rouge, further extending her reach and leadership beyond Faith Chapel.

Emily Fontenot - Co - Leader, Single Women's Chat (SWC)
Rev. Emily Fontenot faithfully serves as co-leader of the Single Women’s Chat Ministry at Faith Chapel Church of God. In this role, she is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment where single women can deepen their faith, form meaningful connections, and encourage one another through life’s various seasons. Emily’s passion for fostering connection and spiritual development shines through her commitment to guiding women as they explore their purpose and find their identity in Christ.

Professionally, Emily is a legislative assistant to a local council person, which allows her to actively participate in community outreach and local events. Her involvement in both professional and ministry spheres reflects her dedication to service and her heart for positively impacting those around her.
In addition to her leadership within the Single Women’s Chat and her professional responsibilities, Emily serves as an Associate Minister at Faith Chapel. During her free time, she enjoys being with family, traveling, and gardening—pursuits that offer her rest and renewal, complementing her vibrant ministry and community work.

Jami Toston - Co - Leader, Single Women's Chat (SWC)
Jami Toston serves as one of the co-leaders of the CWC’s Single Women’s Chat. She is known for her deep love of God and her steadfast commitment as a servant leader. In her role, Jami helps guide and support the Single Women’s Chat, fostering a welcoming and encouraging environment for single women within the church community.
Beyond her leadership in SWC, Jami is a devoted member of the church’s music ministry, contributing her talents and enthusiasm to worship and ministry activities. In her professional life, she serves as a librarian, where her dedication
and commitment have earned her recognition for outstanding service to the public. Her role reflects her passion for connecting people with resources and information, and her excellence in the field highlights her ability to positively impact those she serves. Through her work, she consistently demonstrates a strong work ethic and a sincere desire to provide valuable support to the community.

Along with her professional and ministry commitments, Jami is a gifted artist. She also enjoys a variety of other interests including birdwatching and comedy. These pursuits reflect her creative spirit and appreciation for both learning and leisure.

Schrleen Richard-Thomas - Treasurer
Schrleen Richard-Thomas is the proud mother of two daughters and one son, and a loving grandmother to one granddaughter and two grandsons. She has devoted more than 30 years to the healthcare field, with a primary focus on mental health. Throughout her career, she has served others with compassion, professionalism, and a sincere commitment to helping people improve their quality of life.
For the past 10 years, Schrleen has been a faithful member of Faith Chapel Church of God. During that time, she has remained committed to serving the Lord and supporting her church family.
She recently accepted the role of Accountant and considers it a blessing to use her skills and gifts in service to the ministry.
Guided by her faith, Schrleen strives to live a life that reflects God’s love, grace, and faithfulness. Her favorite scripture, Philippians 4:13, reminds her daily: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Schrleen is honored to serve wherever God leads. She is thankful for every opportunity to glorify Him through both her professional career and her ministry service.

Leah Jones - Historian
Leah Jones serves as historian for Christian Women Connection (CWC) at Faith Chapel Church of God, where she thoughtfully documents significant moments from the ministry’s events and helps preserve its ongoing story.
A recent graduate of Ascension High School, Leah distinguished herself as a Women’s 114 wrestler, cross country runner, and track athlete. During her high school years, she also faithfully served as a nursery nanny with the Faith Chapel Children’s Church Ministry, where her commitment and care were a meaningful blessing to the church family.
Leah currently continues her service through the Louisiana National Guard, reflecting a spirit of dedication, responsibility, and commitment to others.
